PERSAL is Key: This role is heavily system-reliant. If you have a PERSAL Controller or Super-User certificate, make sure to list this clearly at the top of your CV.
Reference Accuracy: Use NDOH 14/2026. Using the wrong reference number could lead to your application being filed under a lower-level post.
Single PDF: When emailing, merge your Z83 and CV into one document.
Leadership: In your CV, highlight specific instances where you have led a team or acted in a higher position, as the department is looking for leadership potential.
Tip: In the public sector, HR Supervisors are expected to be experts in "Service Benefits." Be prepared to answer interview questions about PILIR (ill-health retirement) or the intricacies of the GEMS medical aid transition.
