Programme Overview

This is a structured Business Administration NQF Level 3 learnership specifically designated for People with Disabilities. The programme combines theoretical training with on-the-job work experience within the Human Resources department to help unemployed youth gain valuable corporate skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Academic Completion: Attend classes and complete all requirements of the NQF Level 3 Business Administration qualification.

  • Administrative Support: Provide high-quality administrative support to the People and Culture (HR) team.

  • Operational Assistance: Support the department during peak business periods and provide coverage when regular team members are on leave.

  • Work Experience: Engage in structured on-the-job learning under the supervision of HR professionals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Matric (Grade 12) with a minimum of 40% in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and two South African languages (one being English).

  • Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.

  • Citizenship: South African citizen.

  • Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed.

  • Ineligibility: Must not be currently enrolled in any full-time studies and must not have previously completed this specific qualification (Business Administration NQF 3).

  • Legal: No criminal or negative credit record.

Specific Eligibility Criteria

  • Employment Equity: This position is reserved for Employment Equity candidates.

  • Disability Status: This role is bonded for people with disabilities. Applicants must provide a valid medical record/doctor’s note (with a valid practice number stamp) confirming the nature of the disability.

Remuneration

  • A monthly stipend will be offered in line with SETA requirements.
