Programme Purpose
Gibela Transport Rail, Africa's largest train manufacturer, invites motivated and recently qualified graduates to join a 12-month program. The initiative is designed to provide unique technical and non-technical skills in the world of transport rail manufacturing, testing, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities & Training Areas
Testing Execution: Gain hands-on experience in testing and commissioning procedures for passenger trains.
Compliance: Learn to monitor quality, safety, and configuration adherence in line with Gibela standards.
Technical Documentation: Assist in documentation, reporting, and tracking equipment use and care.
Problem Solving: Escalate supplier issues and work on corrective monitoring.
Team Collaboration: Work within various multidisciplinary teams in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements
Education: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Advantageous: B-Tech, Advanced Diploma, or BEngTech in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Strictly no previous work experience (Entry-level graduate).
Eligibility: South African citizen between 18 and 35 years of age.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills in English.
