Role Purpose
In support of a brand-new site startup in Durban, Ecowize is recruiting 19 Hygiene Operators to maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in food production facilities, ensuring compliance with South African food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sanitation: Perform daily cleaning tasks using the specialized 10-Step Cleaning Process.
Specialized Cleaning: Support both Deep Cleaning and CIP (Clean-in-Place) processes.
Stock Control: Manage and control chemical stocks used during sanitation.
Compliance: Adhere to daily work schedules and maintain hygienic and safe working conditions at all times.
Customer Service: Build and maintain positive client relationships through quality service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Matric (Grade 12) Certificate.
Experience: Essential experience in deep cleaning and chemical stock control.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the food production industry is highly advantageous.
Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends.
Relocation: Applicants not currently based in Durban must be willing to relocate.
