Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science

  • Technical: N2 Certificate in relevant trade (Mechanical/Electrical)

  • Experience: At least 2 years assisting artisans in mining or heavy equipment maintenance

  • Other:

    • Valid driver’s licence

    • Ability to work shifts and overtime

    • Certificate of Fitness (medical compliance)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist artisans with maintenance and repair of Komatsu mining/construction equipment

  • Conduct pre-service inspections and basic fault-finding

  • Support installation and testing of mechanical/electrical components

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and housekeeping standards in workshops

  • Record and report breakdowns and maintenance activities

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
