2. Available Disciplines
Participants are typically placed in various departments based on their background and the company's needs:

3. Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the 2026 intake, you must meet the following:
Citizenship: South African citizen.
Age: Between 18 and 25 years old (though some YES partners allow up to 29, Hytec traditionally targets the 18–25 bracket).
Education: Minimum Grade 12 (Matric). Post-matric qualifications (Diploma/Degree) in relevant fields are often preferred for specific office roles.
Status: Currently unemployed and not studying full-time.
Background: Must be from a previously disadvantaged background (in line with EE Act).
Previous Participation: You must not have participated in a YES programme before.

Mentorship: Each learner is assigned a mentor to monitor progress and provide guidance.
