2. Marking Sessions for 2026
Assistants will be required to work during these specific periods:
June 2026 SCE (Senior Certificate Examination): 26 June 2026 – 12 July 2026.
Oct/Nov 2026 NSC (National Senior Certificate): 25 November 2026 – 15 December 2026.
3. Key Duties
Sorting and organizing examination scripts.
Packing marked papers for storage or transport.
Moving scripts between marking rooms and secure areas.
Providing general administrative support to the Marking Centre Manager.
4. Minimum Requirements
This opportunity is specifically for current students. You must:
Be a registered student at a recognized tertiary institution (University or TVET College).
Provide proof of 2026 registration.
Live within the area of the marking centre you are applying to.
Have your own transport and accommodation.
Exclusion: Current Educator Assistants or Teacher Assistants are not eligible.
