4. Recognition of Artisan Prior Learning (ARPL) for Chefs

  • Purpose: Formal qualification for experienced but uncertified chefs (Chef Qualification SAQA ID 101697).

  • Criteria: 19+ years old, minimum 3 years' experience in a brigaded kitchen.

5. Women Executive Development Programme

  • Purpose: Leadership training for women in middle management and above.

  • Criteria: SA woman, Degree/Diploma (360 credits), 3+ years' managerial experience.

6. Tourist Guide Training

  • Focus: Upskilling existing guides and training new entrants.

  • Benefit: CATHSSETA certification and provincial registration.
