2. Key Responsibilities

  • Query Resolution: Accurately interpret and resolve customer queries regarding products, accounts, or services.

  • Communication: Manage inbound and outbound calls while maintaining high levels of professionalism and empathy.

  • Escalation: Identify and escalate complex or crisis situations to the relevant stakeholders promptly.

  • Administration: Capture correct dispositions (call outcomes) and perform account-related administrative tasks.

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification.

  • Experience: Minimum of one year of customer service or contact centre experience.

  • Technical Skills: * Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

    • 95% typing accuracy.

    • Computer literacy and knowledge of contact centre operations.

  • Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving ability, and high emotional intelligence.

  • Advantageous: Previous experience in retail account assistance services.
