Remuneration

  • Basic Salary: R159 936,00 – R186 936,00 per annum.

  • Estimated Total Package: R236 535,00 – R270 901,00 per annum.

Job Purpose

To render general routine work and maintenance support at the Bosman Street Workshop to ensure a clean and safe working environment for artisans and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance & Cleaning: Sweep the workshop floor, clean out drains and pits, and maintain clean work levels and machinery.

  • Tool Care: Clean all tools allocated to artisans; report any lost or damaged tools immediately.

  • Compliance: Strictly adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993).

  • Operational Support: Execute all general instructions received from the supervisor to support workshop activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Basic literacy.

  • Skills: Ability to execute manual labor duties.

  • Experience: Previous experience in providing cleaning services in a workshop environment is an added advantage.

  • Physical Condition: Must be physically fit and healthy, with the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.

  • Vetting: Applicants must undergo a criminal record check (fingerprints taken by Tshwane Metro Police at own cost).
