2. Key Duties and Responsibilities
General Cleaning: Mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and polishing floors; dusting walls, ceilings, and furniture in offices, consulting rooms, and waiting areas.
Specialized Tasks: Cleaning windows, lifts, fire escapes, fridges, and microwaves.
Waste Management: Proper disposal of general and medical waste according to infection control protocols.
Spillage Response: Immediate decontamination and disinfection of spillages.
Support Services: Assisting with laundry, serving meals, and washing utensils for patients.
3. Minimum Requirements
Education: AET Level 4 (Standard 7 / Grade 9) or a Grade 12 Certificate.
Experience: Minimum of six (6) months appropriate cleaning experience.
Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attributes: Physical fitness, honesty, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure.
Availability: Must be willing to work shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays) and rotate duties as required.
