2. Key Responsibilities
Asset Tracking: Barcoding and recording all new assets and controlling movement within the College.
Reporting: Updating inventory lists and providing monthly reports on new assets.
Verification: Conducting annual physical asset verification to ensure accuracy.
Maintenance: Reporting broken equipment, preparing for repairs, and ensuring storerooms are clean and organized.
Disposal: Assisting in the identification and disposal of stolen, obsolete, or redundant assets.
3. Minimum Requirements
Education: Matric/Grade 12 Certificate (Senior Certificate). A post-matric qualification is an advantage.
Experience: No experience required (Entry-level).
Technical Skills: * Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
License: Valid Code 8 (Manual) Driver’s License is essential.
Soft Skills: Good verbal/written communication, interpersonal relations, and conflict management skills.
Attributes: Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism.
