Programme Overview

This learnership is designed to equip learners with the necessary skills to operate effectively within the global trade and logistics environment. It covers the administrative and operational aspects of moving goods across international borders, including customs procedures, documentation, and freight logistics.

Core Training Modules

  • Customs Procedures: Understanding duties, taxes, and clearing processes.

  • Documentation: Managing bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export/import permits.

  • Logistics Management: Coordinating transport modes (Sea, Air, Road, and Rail).

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with a pass in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and English.

  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.

  • Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.

  • Status: Must be currently unemployed.

  • Competencies: Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and basic computer literacy.
