  • Mpumalanga: Nelspruit (3)

Key Responsibilities

  • Access Control: Controlling entry of people and vehicles into police premises; conducting searches and identity verification.

  • Patrol & Guarding: Conducting patrols of buildings and secured areas; guarding state property and equipment.

  • Monitoring: Observing security equipment and reporting faults; registering visitors and monitoring access cards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.

  • Education: Grade 10 (Standard 8) or equivalent NQF Level 3 qualification.

  • Registration: Registered with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA).

  • Certification: Hold at least a Grade C Security Certificate or higher.

  • Legal: No previous criminal convictions or pending cases; not declared unfit to possess a firearm.

  • Skills: Proficient in at least two official languages (English must be one).

  • Physical/Flexibility: Willing to undergo firearm competency training and work shifts/extended hours.
