Focus: Bridging the gap between education and labor market demand through vocational

training.

1. Learnership Programmes

Skills Junction offers 12-month fixed-term learnerships that combine theoretical learning (online or classroom) with practical workplace experience.

  • Available Categories:

    • Unemployed Learnerships: For youth seeking entry into the economy.

    • Employed Learnerships: For companies looking to upskill existing staff.

    • Disability Inclusion: Specialized programmes for people living with disabilities.

  • Learner Benefits:

    • Monthly stipend for the duration of the 12-month programme.

    • National Qualification (NQF Levels 1–6).

    • Workplace mentoring and coaching.

    • Guaranteed absorption (long-term employment) for high-performing learners.

2. 18.2 Learnership Entry Requirements (Unemployed Youth)

  • Age Group: 18 – 34 years.

  • Citizenship: South African Citizens only.

  • Qualifications: Minimum Matric Certificate (Grade 12).

  • Documents Needed:

    • Comprehensive CV.

    • Certified Copy of ID.

    • Certified Copy of Matric Certificate.

    • SARS Tax Registration proof.

    • Bank account confirmation letter.

    • Disability confirmation (if applicable).

Skills Junction hosts intensive corporate training courses in Sandton and online via Microsoft Teams.
