Role Purpose
To provide service excellence through efficient customer support, point of sale (POS) operational activities, and effective merchandising. The goal is to ensure a positive customer experience while driving the company’s vision to be the top health and beauty retailer.
Key Responsibilities
Point of Sale (POS): Execute all operational activities at the till efficiently; scan merchandise accurately and collect payments; ensure safe cash handling.
Customer Engagement: Proactively promote the Clicks ClubCard and enroll new members; inform customers of current promotions to drive sales.
Merchandising: Execute and maintain merchandising standards and general housekeeping to ensure the store is visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a professional and visible representative of Clicks; provide accurate information on products and promotions.
Operational Support: Follow stock management procedures and support the store team in daily tasks.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Grade 12 (Essential).
Desirable: A minimum of 50% for Mathematics and 50% for English at Grade 12 level.
Experience: Desirable: Previous experience in a customer-facing role within a retail or FMCG environment.
Skills: * Basic numeracy and computer literacy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and solve problems under pressure.
