Role Overview

Boxer Superstores is seeking 20 energetic individuals to join their Cape Town Distribution Centre (DC). These roles cover various operational functions within the warehouse, including Receiving, Picking, Loading, and Stock Counting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking & Packing: Accurately picking stock according to slips and shrink-wrapping pallets for delivery.

  • Inventory Management: Tracking stock quantities, conducting cycle counts, and checking for damaged or short-dated stock.

  • Loading/Offloading: Loading and offloading trucks and moving pallets.

  • Machinery Operation: (For licensed individuals) Operating forklifts or reach trucks to pack pallets on high racks.

  • Quality Control: Auditing stock and ensuring expiry dates are accurate before dispatch.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or National Certificate.

  • Experience: 0–2 years of warehouse experience (your specific role will be determined based on your level of experience).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and basic mathematical skills.

  • Licensing: Valid Forklift or Reach Truck license (mandatory for Operator roles).

  • Flexibility: Must be available to work day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Attributes: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a team-oriented mindset.
