Minimum Requirements
- Basic Education and Training (NQF Level 3)
- Basic Security Officer Course
- PSIRA Grade C Registration
- Knowledge of access control procedures
- Knowledge of security and emergency procedures
- Ability to maintain security records
- Previous security experience will be an added advantage
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform access control at departmental facilities
- Protect buildings, employees, visitors, and assets
- Prevent unauthorized entry and removal of equipment
- Record security incidents and breaches
- Operate security and control room equipment
- Maintain occurrence books and security registers
- Follow departmental security procedures
