Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 or an N3 Certificate.
- NQF Level 4 Electrical Engineering Certificate.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance and Installations
- Assist artisans with maintaining electrical equipment.
- Support minor electrical installations.
- Help identify maintenance requirements.
- Assist with repairs of electrical systems and components.
Cable Installation and Management
- Assist with installation of new electrical cables.
- Dig trenches for cable installations.
- Install cable racks and secure cabling.
- Support cable management activities.
Equipment Repairs
- Assist with repairing electrical equipment and appliances.
- Help repair geysers, heaters, stoves, ovens and related equipment.
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
Replacement of Faulty Components
- Assist with replacing faulty plugs, lights and isolators.
- Support maintenance teams in repair work.
- Ensure electrical safety procedures are followed.
Electrical Testing and Fault Finding
- Assist with testing low-voltage cables and electric motors.
- Support fault-finding and troubleshooting activities.
- Use electrical testing equipment under supervision.
Cable Jointing
- Assist with cable jointing work.
- Support electrical fault-finding activities.
- Help restore functionality of electrical systems.
Housekeeping and Safety
- Maintain clean and safe working areas.

Materials and Spare Parts Collection
