Requirements
Must be a South African citizen
From a disadvantaged background or rural community
Currently in Matric or completed Matric
Studying/intending to study full-time at a recognised South African university
BSc applicants: Level 5 (60–69%) in Mathematics and Physical Science or Geography
Diploma/Degree applicants: Level 4 (50–59%) in Mathematics and Physical Science
Not a staff member of the department

Application Process
Prepare certified copies of ID, Matric certificate, and latest academic transcript.
Complete the bursary application form via the DLRRD Bursary Portal.

This bursary is designed to build skills in land surveying, GIS, and town planning, helping rural learners access careers in land reform and rural development.
