About the Programme
The Workplace Experience Programme is designed for students seeking practical industry exposure in FMCG manufacturing. Participants will work in the Home & Personal Care Quality Department, gaining hands-on training in:
Quality Assurance processes
Quality Control activities
Laboratory testing and calibration
Manufacturing quality systems
Compliance and auditing procedures
Packaging quality management
Continuous improvement initiatives
Responsibilities
Laboratory Support: Sampling/testing raw materials, verifying bulk product quality, calibrating equipment, preparing Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
Quality Systems: Managing records, supporting CAPA processes, assisting audits, monitoring GMPs and hygiene standards.
Operations: Factory inspections, product release support, investigating quality issues, preparing reports, reviewing consumer feedback.
Packaging Quality: Inspecting packaging materials, verifying dimensions and barcodes, investigating defects, supporting supplier quality management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must hold one of the following:
National Diploma in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Packaging
Advanced Diploma or Degree in a related field
