Job Type: 24-Month Structured Graduate Internship Contract
Stipend: R112 000 – R135 000 per annum (Depending on qualification level, consistent with public service internship frameworks)

Minimum Requirements


To enter the regulatory and public service operational framework of the CIPC, applicants must meet the following criteria:
A completed Three-Year National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, or an equivalent relevant qualification from an accredited South African tertiary institution.
Currently unemployed South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
Has not previously participated in or completed a formal graduate internship program within any government department or public sector institution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a clear and professional telephone etiquette (multilingualism is a major asset).
High computer literacy with rapid data capture abilities and comfort navigating digital database query screens.
Strong listening skills, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving logic to resolve citizen queries systematically.
Completely clear criminal record history (standard state security verification and background tracking checks apply).


Key Responsibilities & Learning Exposure


Interns operate inside a modern, high-volume inbound public contact hub, mastering corporate compliance customer-service frameworks:
Attending to inbound telephonic calls, digital chats, and email inquiries from business owners, legal practitioners, and the general public regarding company registrations.
Providing precise guidance on the procedural parameters for registering companies, logging cooperatives, updating intellectual property rights, and filing annual returns.
Navigating the internal CIPC electronic data tracking systems to check the real-time status of submitted customer application portfolios.
Resolving client processing bottlenecks or systematically escalating complex technical faults to advanced system administrators.
Capturing detailed interaction logs and indexing customer call categories into the centralized CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database tracking sheets with absolute data entry accuracy.
Adhering strictly to service level agreements (SLAs), public sector service standards (Batho Pele), and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
