The Coca-Cola Company & CCBSA: 2026 Recruitment & Training

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) and Peninsula Beverages (PenBev) are currently recruiting for various roles, ranging from technical in-service training for students to professional corporate positions. Because Coca-Cola operates through different bottling partners in South Africa, it is important to apply to the correct entity based on your location and career level.

  • Target Fields: Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, and Quality Assurance.

    • Completed theoretical modules of your Diploma/Degree.

3. Minimum Requirements for Most Roles

While technical roles require specific degrees, entry-level positions generally require:

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with a minimum 40% pass in Mathematics or Maths Literacy and two South African languages.

  • Attributes:

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment.

    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

    • A "results-driven" mindset.

  • Legal: No criminal record and a valid South African ID.

Coca-Cola does not accept emailed CVs. You must use their official career portals:

  1. For CCBSA (National): Apply via the CCB Africa Careers Portal.

  2. Application Checklist:

    • Fully completed Online Profile.

    • Certified copies of your Matric Certificate, ID, and Academic Transcripts.

    • Specific for In-Service: Copy of the tertiary institute's curriculum requirements.

5. Important Advice for 2026

  • The "Fast-Moving" Environment: Coca-Cola is an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) company. In your interview, highlight any experience where you had to work under a strict deadline or manage high volumes of data/tasks.

  • Reference Numbers: Always double-check the Reference Number on the advert. Each location (e.g., Midrand vs. Devland) has a unique code.

  • Driver’s License: For Account Manager or Merchandiser roles, a Code 8 (B) License is almost always mandatory and non-negotiable.

  • Disability Equity: CCBSA frequently runs specialized learnerships for youth living with disabilities (e.g., Business Admin NQF 4). If applicable, ensure you have a medical certificate ready.

6. Why Join Coca-Cola?

  • Global Standards: You will be trained on world-class manufacturing and supply chain systems (like SAP and iRED).

  • Sustainability Focus: Coca-Cola is heavily invested in water stewardship and "World Without Waste" initiatives.

  • Career Growth: Many In-Service trainees are absorbed into permanent roles as Warehouse Coordinators, QA Technicians, or Production Planners.

Tip: Since you are an engineering student focused on biomedical and electrical projects, the Quality Assurance (QA) and Manufacturing Stores streams are excellent fits for your background. They require the same level of precision and systematic thinking you use in your ventilator and motor-cad simulations!
