2. Minimum Requirements
SANParks requires a professional individual who is committed to road safety and administrative accuracy:
Education: A completed Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) for transporting people/goods.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of work experience as a professional Driver or Messenger.

3. Key Responsibilities
The Driver provides critical logistical support to the corporate office:
Transport Services: Safely transporting staff, stakeholders, and visitors between SANParks facilities and external locations.
Courier & Messenger Duties: Collecting and delivering corporate mail, documents, and printing materials between the Head Office and regional parks or partners.
Fleet Management: Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify and report safety defects or maintenance needs.
Logbook Maintenance: Ensuring that all trip sheets and vehicle logbooks are completed accurately and submitted daily for fleet monitoring.
Compliance: Adhering strictly to the SANParks Fleet Management SOP, the Code of Conduct, and the National Road Traffic Act.
General Support: Assisting with office administrative tasks (such as filing or sorting mail) when driving duties are not required.
