2. Role Purpose
The learnership provides a blend of theoretical classroom training and practical, on-the-job work experience. Participants will be placed within Momentum’s various business units to learn about insurance products, client service, and financial administration.
3. Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the 2026 intake, you must meet the following:
Education: A completed Grade 12 (Matric) with a pass in:
English (at least 50%).
Mathematics (at least 40%) OR Maths Literacy (at least 50%).
Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen (with a valid ID).
Age: Between 18 and 30 years old.
Status: Must be currently unemployed.
Experience: Must not have participated in a previous Insurance Learnership before.
Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal and credit record.
4. Key Responsibilities
Learning: Attend all required training sessions and complete Portfolios of Evidence (PoE) on time.
Administration: Assist with policy processing, data entry, and file management.
Customer Service: Handle telephonic and email queries from clients regarding their insurance policies.
Compliance: Learn and adhere to the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act and other industry regulations.
