2. Placement Locations
Successful candidates may be placed at any of the following SAB production sites:
Chamdor, Alrode, Rosslyn, Polokwane, Prospecton, Ibhayi, or Newlands.
3. Minimum Entry Requirements
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with a pass in Mathematics and English.
Citizenship: South African citizen.
Status: Must be unemployed at the time of application.
Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 12-month duration of the programme.
Added Advantage: Technical qualifications (N3, N4, N5, or N6) or prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
4. Key Responsibilities & Training
Workplace Learning: Operate and monitor packaging machinery, maintain hygiene/safety standards, and follow production workflows.
Theory: Study packaging principles, food safety, quality assurance, and occupational health and safety.
Mentorship: Work under the guidance of experienced mentors to troubleshoot faults and work within a team environment.
