Qualifications
The following are the minimum entry requirements for the programme:
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Matric with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science and English (all with minimum 40% pass), OR
- N2 or higher with all four (4) subjects passed including Mathematics and Engineering Science as per the specific Discipline requirements below.
Boilermaker: Plating/ Welders Theory and Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings.
Electrical: Electrical Trade Theory and Industrial Electronics, or Engineering Drawings.
Diesel Mechanic: Diesel or Motor Trade Theory and Engineering Drawings
Mechanical Fitter: Fitting Trade Theory and Engineering Drawings.
Instrument Mechanician: Instrument Trade Theory and Industrial Electronics
Auto Electrician: Motor Electrical Trade Theory and Industrial Electronics.
Millwright: Electrical and Fitting Trade Theories, Engineering Drawings or Industrial Electronics
- NCV Level – 4 in appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40% pass.
