Bursaries are specifically awarded for studies at the following two institutions:
University of Cape Town (UCT):
Accounting
Computer Science / Information Technology (IT)
Data Science
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
(Must have completed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year)
University of Stellenbosch (SU):
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Geology
Process Engineering
(Must have completed 1st year)
Coverage and Benefits
The ARM Bursary is comprehensive and covers the following expenses:
Full Tuition Fees and Registration Fees.
Prescribed Textbooks.
Laptop for study purposes.
University Residence Accommodation and Meals.
Note: The bursary does not cover historical/outstanding debt.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
South African Citizen.
Must have completed Matric.
Must be currently enrolled at UCT or Stellenbosch University in one of the listed fields.
Must have a strong academic record.
Must not be a recipient of any other bursary funding for the 2026 academic year.

Selection Process
Shortlisting: Contacted within 21 days after the closing date.
Assessment: Shortlisted candidates must attend a panel interview and undergo psychometric testing.
Feedback: If you do not hear back within 21 days of the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
