Internship Description
We are looking for a motivated talent to join our team for a 6-month internship in the Accounting department. This Internship within our finance team offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to experience the “World of Red Bull” from a finance perspective.
You will assist with the finance aspects of managing a key supplier of Red Bull South Africa as well as ensuring and maintaining the quality of the financial control environment by evaluating processes and driving efficiencies. You will work in a team environment and report directly to the Chief Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Processing of invoices in SAP.
- Ensuring and maintaining the quality of the financial control environment by reviewing coding and authorizations.
- Monitoring vendor account balances, ensuring accounts remain in a credit status.
- Assisting with analyzing the invoices posted by preparing various reports on actual costs vs. budget.
- Keeping a record of reporting items for management reporting.
- Dealing promptly and efficiently with queries from both vendors and employees.
- Building and maintaining relationships with both vendors and employees.
Requirements:
- Relevant Diploma or Degree.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent accounting knowledge and strong reconciliation and analytic skills.
- Driven self-starter with energy and enthusiasm to work efficiently within a team.
- Well organized and have the ability to work under pressure.
- First-class oral and written communication skills.
- Microsoft Excel intermediate to advanced level.
- My first experience with SAP is a plus.
