2. Role and Responsibilities
2.1 Core Responsibilities
The NAM Assistant is tasked with a variety of responsibilities that support the National Account Manager in maintaining and growing a portfolio of accounts. These responsibilities include:
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and sustain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Pricing Management: Oversee pricing processes, including capturing pricing information, maintaining pricing trackers, and managing queries related to pricing both internally and with customers.
- Claims Management: Handle claims by resolving and processing them efficiently. This includes investigating invalid claims and managing related queries.
- Promotional Activities: Manage pre and post-promotion ROI analysis, maintain promotional grids, and track compliance to ensure promotional activities meet their objectives.
- Budget Management: Oversee day-to-day budget management, updating and maintaining budget trackers and systems to ensure financial accuracy and adherence.
- Performance Tracking: Compile customer reviews, track sales performance, and manage innovation trackers to monitor and report on account performance.
- Data Analysis: Utilize various data platforms to analyze performance metrics and deliver actionable insights for decision-making.
2.2 Operational Excellence
The role also involves working closely with the Vector and Operations teams to drive operational excellence. This includes:
- Trade Initiatives: Supporting trade initiatives and the perfect store concept to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Business Planning: Assisting the NAM in business planning processes to align with strategic goals and objectives.
- Innovation Strategy: Contributing to the formulation of innovation strategies and managing their execution to ensure alignment with market demands.
2.3 Forecasting and Demand Planning
- Demand Planning Support: Assist the NAM in the demand planning and forecasting process by providing relevant information, including sales data, promotional performance, and stock levels.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and track performance against forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives and market conditions.
2.4 Commercial Excellence
- Financial KPIs: Develop an understanding of profitability and financial key performance indicators (KPIs) to interpret financial data effectively.
2.5 General Administration
- Administrative Tasks: Handle general administrative duties such as expense claims, credit card reconciliations, and travel bookings.

3. Key Requirements and Qualifications

Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Marketing and Business is required to provide a solid foundation for the role’s responsibilities.
- Experience: At least three years of experience in sales, account management, or administration within a similar role, preferably with a data-driven and analytical focus.
- Driving License: A valid code EB driver’s license is necessary for the role.
