Job Summary: Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Store Driver for their Table Bay Mall location. The role involves delivering goods to customers efficiently and professionally.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Valid Driver’s License
- Availability for retail hours and shifts
Advantageous:
- Prior experience in a similar role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver products safely and promptly to customer locations
- Learn and perform various dispatch functions
- Ensure accurate delivery of products and prioritize fridge line deliveries using cooler boxes and cold packs
- Use the most efficient routes and return promptly to the store for subsequent deliveries
- Maintain vehicle organization and report any damages or losses
- Handle fragile and hazardous products with care
- Follow delivery instructions and ensure all paperwork is correctly managed
- Process payments and maintain an accurate vehicle logbook
- Inspect the vehicle for defects and report issues as needed
- Adhere to road traffic regulations and company policies
